Where is the Code Option Sticker!
 

Went looking for the Code Option Sticker and could not find it. Somebody said it is under the hood - where exactly?

It should be on the front luggage compartment hood near the top (when opened) under the latch plate.

It should also be in the front of either the owner's manual or warranty booklet. If it is missing from the underside of the front hood, there is a possibility that the hood was reshot. Or it fell off. Or aliens came during the night and probed your car. Or all of the above.

Mine's near the latch under the hood. It's a small strip of paper. The options on my '84 are also listed in the warranty book.
