Door Adjustment help
71 T Targa: Drivers door has a rattle while driving. I checked it over and discovered that when closed, if I push in on the door it will move about 1/8" or so and I think this is the source of my rattle going down the road. The door is aligned nicely, but apparently the latch to striker relationship is off. It closes and latches tightly, but doesn't have that Porsche 'ping' when it closes that the passenger side does. Does this sound like worn parts or an adjustment issue? I've never dealt with door issues before.
TIA

Are you sure it's not the opening rod inside the door? They have some rubber and plastic guides that get broken and cause a light rattle.
If it's the door you need a Hazet socket to loosen the striker.

The plastic inside the striker could have cracked and fallen apart from age. You might just need to replace it.
