Need a Motronic favor

Do any of you 3.2s who installed an aftermarket chip still have your stock one?

Here's my deal. In my search for horsepower I installed a Europroducts chip. My main notice was that the car ran smoother with no "dead" spots with an increase in rev limit, but no other improvements to mention.

I put the stock chip back in because of the lack of improvement and realized why I liked the aftermarket chip. Do any of you have an original chip you can let me rent or borrow to test if it's my chip or my entire brain? Well, not MY brain but you know what I mean. I will gladly pay shipping or a rental fee or if someone in the area is willing to let me plug in one evening or weekend afternoon it would be most helpful. If not, the chip goes back in!

Please email me, thanks!!!!

Bump. SOrry, but I'm looking for suggestions as well.

Steve W., thanks for your suggestions on intake leaks, will check it out.

If it isn't the chip or an intake leak, any ideas of what to look for? The car runs very strong and really hauls a$$, but I can't enjoy it to it's fullest until this is solved. Checked the dist. cap and rotor, all is fine, plug wires are fine. Feels as if the power just cuts out a bit but then surges back on....suggestions please!!!!!

Have you checked your o2 sensor mine acted the same way intill I swapped it? It was hesitant intill I reached 3000 rpm then would be fine.
