Recomendations on door seal adhesive
Hi guys - the door seal keeps coming undone on my car. I'm using a 3M spray, but clearly either I'm doing something wrong or it isn't strong enough.
Any recommendations on what to use and how to get the seals to stay in place? Thanks |

3M 08011. Comes in a tube. It's black. Made for rubber seals.

The trick with the 3-M spray is to coat both surfaces to be bonded and after spraying allow the spray to dry until tacky and then press the parts together and clamp or hold until dry. This works as I have tried several different ways. The black goop in the tube is much stronger than the spray

I just used the tube to do the door sill rubber. It worked well. Word of warning: work as fast as you can applying the glue to your surface. It tacks up very fast and will get stringy on you. I applied it in small sections at a time. Worked great.

Hi guys - thanks for all the responses. I've not had luck with the spray, so I'll give the tube product a shot.
