eric, i was wanting to update the wheels on my 73 and no one can tell me what will fit. do you know? please let me know and i am very interested in your black wheel project. i think black wheels are the way to go. i would almost strip them down and have them hard anodized black. this will give them a black chrome look.

Eric,

Go with the spokes painted black and leave the lip silver. Similar to the Fuchs. The all black looks like a steel wheel that lost its hubcaps.

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but here it is anyway.

SLAMMED1000,
i WILL POST PIC'S WHEN I'M FINISHED.. BUT THE LARGEST I HAVE SEEN ON A EARLEY MODEL W/OUT FLAIR'S WOULD BE 8x16 REAR.. AND THATS WITH ROLLED LIP'S AND - CAMBER.. BUT 16x7'S WILL FIT NICE.. AND I'S GO 6x16 UP FRONT.. THE SHOULD FIT NICE ASWELL BUT MAY HAVE TO ROLL THE LIP A TAD. I'M GOING TO RUN 7x17 AND 9x17 .. THEY SHOULD FIT GREAT! AND i DOTHINK I'M GOING TO GO BLACKED OUT.. THEY SHOULD LOOK NICE ON THE SILVER CAR.. SORT OF A CLASSIC RACE LOOK.. AND NO BRAKE DUST!!!
