fuel/oil tank instrument/gauge fail
In my 87 3.2, the left gauge does not work. No fuel reading, no oil tank level. The light works and when I turn on the ignition the needles pop up a bit. They don't work further (there is both oil and fuel in the car!). Must be electrical (?) but the red gas light is on (with full tank). I pulled the gauge and all wires seem to be connected, though there is an empty terminal toward the middle of the gauge with no wire on it. Ideas? Thanks,
Sheldon |

Not at home so can't check Porsche books for fuse placement but this may be a cause.

I checked the fusebox I know (inside front hood left side) and there is no fuse there for the instrument. Will check to see if there are other fuses?
