Repairing a 79' carrera spoiler lip
I just recently purchased a 79 911sc coupe with the whale tail and a carrera lip rubber piece on it. The problem is is that the rubber has crumbs coming out of the connecting points to the tail. Does anyone know how to remove this tail. Also is there anywhere that sells a relatively inexspensive replacement if i have to replace it?

Rubber surround has studs embedded around the seam. They insert into holes in the tail. Nuts inside the tail. Try the search function. There is a great thread with lots of photos where someone repaired their rubber lip.
