Slate gray paint question

Hi!

I am getting ready to paint the "Rat" and have done some research on slate gray paint codes and have found the following:

6401 year 64/65
6601 year 66-68
6801 year 69

My question is are all of these the same color? Could someone post pictures of their cars with the paint code you used for repaint in slate gray? I am looking to go to paint in about 2 weeks and want to lock down which paint color to use.

Yes, same color
The "64" "66" and "68" is reference to the year the code is used by the factory. The "01" is the actual color code used by the factory.

Sweet!!
I know everyone is going to have their own opinion but I think slate gray is the perfect color for the early cars. When done right it looks like wet candy.

Porsche Crest and when it's done...

I spent a long long while admiring this slate car.
