Need help on 911 to 964 engine lid swap
I have hear that you can put a 964 movable spoiler on a 1987 Carrera. Has anyone done this?
Do you use a 964 Lid or a Carrera lid. I am getting rid of the tail on my 1987 and wanted to replace it with a stock engine lid but then I go to thinking. I know that I may have to relocate my ac condenser and the spoiler would have to be controlled by a switch. I have all the parts to a 964 wing including the motor . I do not know if I need a 964 engine lid of a carrera one Any help would be appreciated

You'd need to get some custom hinges. Search mattman 964 hinges and contact him.

Same question here... I have the lid from a '81 911 and the spoiler from a '91 964 (I installed a larger spoiler on my 964 so I removed the spoiler, motor, and wiring.
Can this be done?
