dents in Prototipo wheel - how to remove?

I've got a Momo Prototipo thats been sitting in storage for a few years. It has some other parts resting against it and they put some dents in the fabric. Anybody know a great trick to get these dents out? I was thinking about applying a little heat from a heat gun and massaging it back in shape but don't know it thats a good way to do it or not.

I just had the same issue with some RS door panels last week. I laid them out in the sun for a couple hours and 90% of the dents tightened right up. You can hardly see it now. Of course, it was 90 degrees here.
