Intermittent Fuel Leak
Hi - am experiencing a weird phenomenon on my 1974 911. Randomly (and thankfully seldomly) I get a fuel leak from something around the fuel filter/accumulator area. Have checked all hoses, replaced those that were obviously old.
Any recommendations are welcome - the fuel drips directly onto the exhaust, so I know Murphy is going to catch up to me one day and have this happen whilst driving... Off to buy an extra extinguisher. Thanks Jeff |

The accumulator at a 74 does not have the return to the fuel tank when the diaphram leaks like the 77 to 83 CIS. The fuel comes off the bottom of the accumulator and drips to the longitudinal and to the engine area.
