TD connector on CD box?
 
My 77 2.7 has a Perma-tune CDI box, the wires leading to it are one red and two white, the white one in the center. Which of these is the TD one that goes to the tach? I am still trying to trouble shoot my tach problem.

Shawn,

Your engine has points, right? The same lead from the distributor that triggers the CDI-unit ... also triggers the tach.
