Thanks for your feed back. I don't know why my pictures won't just open...they showed up when I did it at home. I do have internet explorer at home & netscape navigator at work, but all of the files are .jpg and under the size limit....so who knows. What a bummer though because I really wanted the pics to show up and I had more to add!! Oh well!!!

I saw one of those minis the other day. They did'nt look so mini to me, but must admit they looked cool.

I just added more porsche pics to the 1st thread I did (I did 2 posts to split the pics up). So when I get home later, i'll look at the post again to see how they look (at work I just see the pic icons). Thanks!!

It was last Saturday at Schaar's Bluff Picnic Area in Hastings. We found out about it in the Nord Stern newsletter and thought we would check it out. It was also listed on their web site in the calendar events section. I guess the event is usually set for the 2nd Saturday in June each year.

It really is too bad you missed it. It was a lot of fun. There were so many different cars, people, a few tech sessions going on, they had a good "Umpa" band playing & food was also available. We talked to a lot of people, and it was fun to see how excited people were to talk about their cars. We got a kick out of it too when people wanted to know more about our car.

Another cool thing was watching groups of people (in their hot cars with the head lights on) arrive together and line up next to each other.

Oh and one more thing. They also had people choose what was their favorite in each different vehicle make class and gave out awards.

So, hopefully you will make it next year. We hope to know more porsche people by then so we can arrive in a string of hot porsches with our headlights on too!!
