Zenith VS. Weber
Enlighten me here. I got a field find 911T with Zeniths. How do these differ from webers. Why did Porsche decide to use them? Cheaper? I know there are two methods of adjustment per Weber or Zenith.
Is there a clear advantage to either? Can you switch between the two? Thanks, Josh |

zeniths are somewhat limited if you plan to do major engine upgrades - lots more parts available for the weber
both bolt to the same manifolds if you are leaving it stock or almost so, the zeniths will be fine and a lot cheaper .

I have Zeniths on the Rat and it runs very well. For your purposes I think they will be fine. The Webers are indeed a lot more expensive but can be adjusted for engine upgrades. For a stock engine the Zeniths work great.

not a lot to base it on, but i think the zeniths are better than the webers,,,,,for engines they can be tuned for.
my brother had a 2.4T with zeniths and that thing was quick. it seemed faster than my 2.7. i also had a 2.2E with webers, in a 914. it seemed like the zeniths were just a bit better. just my limited opinion.
