NY/NJ/CT Cars And Coffee Run Oct 6th
At some point in history Columbus did not land on main land America.... ....So lets go for a drive
Oct 6th (Saturday), I'm thinking we meet at the usual spot at Rye Playland in Rye NY, then head to Bear mountain. Ill go look for a coffee place that we may be able to meet at as well as a good place to eat lunch. I know there is a big crowd out of Brooklyn and LI forming, hope to see you guys come out. If any one else knows of a good drive feel free to speak up we have done the Bear Mountain drive a bunch and I know there are other good runs out there. Regards Dave

There also looks to be some nice roads right over the bear mountain bridge, does any one know the area?

I would really like to go but I don't have a ton of time for what sounds like a full day to say the least...
By chance, will the cruise possibly head north = twds CT so I could leave at the end & be a lot closer to home vs out on LI or up state NY... Don't change the route due to me...just asking... A lot of great guys & cars down your way...just wish I could get away for a full day...darn... If you get more interest, please spell out the day so I can see what I can do... Thx Dave for your efforts & time here...supprised no one has posted here yet...it has been a day or so...maybe everyone else is busy too...

I have done the bear mountain run many times, as have many of us, if you know some good roads feel free to share them Im sure people would be up for what ever. If you are not that far from rye you should come and say hi to every one in the morning.

I hope its nice out, as does my Targa but ill be in the 944 for this one, however my summer tires and rain dont get along to well.

Lets see if we can combine these two runs. Where were they planing on driving, see if they want to head to bear mountain with us. If they would be interested we can pick a meeting place close to the tapen zee. That would be north for you guys and west for us but half way for both. Regards Dave
