Originality Qs, '84 3.2 seats

In my (new to me) '84 cab, the seats' headrests have the same stitching pattern as the middle cushions.
Questions:

- What years were so upholstered?

-Did sport seats for the same year have teh same headrest stitching, or were they smooth without stitching?

Would the same year sport seat have the same stitching on the headrests?
I am asking because my former '93 930 with sport seats did not.

The bolsters were bigger on the same period "sport seats". The back/butt inserts are the same.

Ahh, nope. The sport seats of that era had smooth leather on the headrests. And, the leather on the bottom cushion was different, in that the center was a separate piece from the sides. The bottoms were essentially three peices, so they were sewn completely differently than the standard seats. They did have the side-to-side pleats.
