Post 2.2 liter removal?

I know this has been discussed in the past. But can you just remove the engine from the the tranny on a 70 911T? TIA

Since it has the pull type clutch it is harder to separate the engine/trans. Since I always remove the whole powertrain anyway it's not an issue. If you want to remove just the engine you are going to have to be able to get a screwdriver or something into the starter hole to rotate the TOB, a bear!
