Interior help needed

I removed my dash pad and knee boards but I got stumped trying to remove the bezel around the headlight knob. It is a 1970 t and the bezel has 4 small slots? Also the dash pad had rust on the metal tabs ( drivers door tab rusted through) Can this be repaired or do I try to source a replacement?

Here is the light switch and 2 photos of the rusted part of the dash pad. Any help on repairing or if a donor is available I am planning on recovering to match the knee pads.

Just a guess but doesn't the bezel unscrew using the 4 slots?

Meaning use some kind of tools like small screw drivers, stick them in the slots then unscrew

What he ^^^ says. Put two small screwdriver blades in opposite slots and hold them together and turn anticlockwise.

Re the dash, it's hard to see exactly how bad the metal loss is on the bottom pic. If there's enough left, scrap then rust off as much as you can, treat with any rust encapsulating paint (like POR15) and reuse. For the other end cut out a piece of sheet metal the same size, drill a hole where the mounting bolt goes, fit a suitable bolt (M6?), weld to plate, grind the head down a bit and glue to the dash.
