Anyone gonna buy a Mini S or 350Z

Just wondering what folks think of these two cars. I think the Mini Cooper S is just plain cool, but the 350Z track-prepped version seems awful fun. Of course, neither are a Porsche
Anyone signed up to purchase either of these?

If I had the really big bucks I'd go for the Aston Vanquish V12!

cheers

I have already seen 2 of the new Mini Coopers on the road. Nice looking car that really stayed true to its original design. It looks like it would be a fun autocross car.

Just drove a Mini S and it was a blast. Too bad they jacked the retail price on it by $3000 and the 8 month wait to get it. It would definently be a great A-X car.

Hey all,

I'm on the list to get one from the first batch here where I live (350Z). I probably won't get the car, and will most likely let someone else take my opportunity. I heard that people sell there spots for cars on ebay.....is that true? I signed up early, and from what I understand, there are no more "early bird" spots at all. I ordered the package with leather and the other options that come in that package, don't really remember them. There is a "track" edition with racing brakes, but not quite worth the extra 3 grand.

anyone interested? my dealer is in Ramsay, NJ and the cars are expected in august.

regards,

I think the 350z is one hell of a bargain. Find another car for under 30K that even comes close to what is expected??? of this car. Could be a great daily driver if I did not live in the North East. Time will tell what my next car will be. This is a worthy option. Mini is very nice looking, but gets mixed reviews and with the price markup you could get the GTI 337 that flat out smokes it in every category.

I really was looking forward to getting one for my girlfriend and drove a rental at Budget while in Australia. Fun but woefully under powered.

Called all the dealers in Socal and beyond who quoted insulting prices. Long Beach BMW reputed to be good guys selling for MSRP. Turns out they added wheels and some lot boy? applied clear coat to improve on the factory paint.

Finally gave up and getting her a Vaaallvo Cross Country cause I think they look cool. Oh well.

Still interested in the S if the prices come down.
