How to fix oil leaks

I cannot sleep, I am thinking about all these oil leaks...could there be a simple way to fix them ? Imagine that you could spray someting on the oil that would reticulate it, make it rubber ! All your oil leaks would become rubber seals ! Chemically, that would mean bond all the oil chains together, like a vulcanization...unfortunaltely, oil is a very non-reactive polymer, this is why we use it for high temperature. If I could activate it with a first reaction though, and then reticulate it...I would have a product that would make all of us very happy...just an idea, from a chemist in polymer science who owmns an old leaky Porsche...I`ll check tomorrow if there is a possibility there.

The best way to fix oil leaks is to thoroughly rebuild your motor. And while you are in there . . .

Best,

Kurt
