Fuel line leak - parts question
Hello - looking for a little guidance. This fuel line is leaking. It gets pretty saturated and drips down. Creates a pretty big pool. I'm hesitant to drive given the amount of leakage.
Question, this seems like an easy repair. True? Question, can i find a replacement line at a local parts shop or is it a custom piece ordered through Pelican. I normally buy all my parts through this site, but I need to get this car running so I can prepare for storage. Would love to repair today. Thanks ![]() |

Any hydraulics or hose shop can help you. If you can't find one ask a Caterpillar repair shop and they will know a shop that does it.
Oh yeah, and don't drive it with ANY fuel leaks.

![]() ![]() This is not a high pressure (20psi) application so any fuel injection hose that fits should be OK. You likely have a 7mm or 7.5mm hose so a 5/16in hose available at your local NAPA or Auto Zone or Pep Boys store should work. Always best to keep a fire extinguisher in the car at all times. You never know when you might need one. Len |
