How long is the front/side sunroof seal supposed to be?

Car is an '83. I ordered new front and rear sunroof seals. The one that came for the front is only 41" long -- I was expecting it to be about 55-56" long. The part I ordered was 911-564-191-00 and the description on the packaging says "coupe velvet sunroof seal front & side, 911 (1974-89). Brand: OEM" Did I screw up?

Link below to what's probably the definitive thread on sunroof sea replacement. Front seal should cover three sides. I just did this with the same seal you ordered from Pelican. I had just enough seal to tuck under. I was little disappointed in that my rear seal is not really black but more a dark grey. I'm sure most folks don't notice, but my eye is draw to it every time I get in the car. Just went and measured mine. Tough to get the corners just right but I'm at 55-56". 41" ain't gonna get it done. -J Sunroof cable repair and new seals 87 911

That's what I thought. I'll call tomorrow and get it swapped. Thanks for double-checking!
