Well, I bought 21 and 27 hollow bars from Er. While I was in there I also did front and rear shocks, sway bar bushings, spring plate bushings, camber plate bushings. Trailing arm bushings, rear wheel bearings, repacked front bearings, 4 new sebro rotors, new rear axles, new brake soft lines, 4 Eric Shea calipers. Alignment and cb is scheduled for jan 3rd.

I think I win the scope creep award this week!

19mm and 26mm should be stock sizes for an 1988.

I would go 22/28 as an upgrade while keeping ride quality good.

Would this still work with stock sway bars or should this be done in conjunction with larger diameter sway bars for a street application?

That's exactly what I have with stock sways - 22 and 28 mm bars.
