Question HELP-engine stalls w/ oil cap removal

With engine running, when i remove the oil filler cap (as if to check the dipstick oil level), the engine sputters, and stalls out. Why? How to fix? I believe the 02 sensor may have been disconnected by previous owner-would this contribute to this problem?

The hose that goes from the breather to your oil tank needs a small restricter to compensate for the open vacuum. You can also get this result by using vise grips on the hose.
Hope it helps.
