The cover in the rear quarter panel? Item 33? In the body section.

All the parts seem to be labeled in the PET... Which piece exactly?

In the 911 73 PET , it's called a rear axle strut, found in the rear axle diagram 501, p/n 901 333 153 01. Your picture doesn't look quite like mine so I assume it's a different year.

The '67-'69 PET lists it as a complete assembly.

Interestingly, the 1969 front suspension has the cover listed seperately

900 040 008 01 cover plate
