Is there a source for the original German light colored rubber undercoating? If so...where and how much? Is it available in spray cans?
Thanks for any help? JGL ![]() |

Try Wurth SKS Stoneguard. It matches Porsche's OEM body schutz. The recommended application method is to spray it on with a special Wurth SKS gun. It can be brushed on as well, but the texture will not be correct.
Click on: http://www.carcareonline.com/mfgr_frame.html The click on "Wurth" and slide down to "SKS Stone Guard." Good luck.

The Wurth product is probably satisfactory ... but Valvoline Tectyl was the OEM coating ...

Hello
Porsche used different products but I never had seen rubberized undercoatings from the factory. Maybe you talk about the Plastisol Undercoat ? BTW finding the correct Tectyl Product follow that links: http://www.tectyl.com/bulletinview.taf?bulletinid=15 http://www.tectyl.com/categories.taf?ProductLineID=1&CategoryID=1 Most come in big packages for industrial use.
