Alarm broken--need to replace sensor
 
The sensor module (i.e. "main brain") for my alarm is broken and needs replacement. I can either get a factory part and have it installed or get a whole new alarm (non-factory, high quality) for about $50.00 less. Are factory alarms known to be particularly good or bad? What would you do?

What model # is it. I have the main brain from my car and I would just give it to you. Unsure if it still works, but if it does it could maybe save you some $.
