Door hinges with excessive play
Hi all
My passenger door hinges were shot, there is a lot of up, down play, I replaced the door pins, Yea that will solve it..... Wrong. the play is still there, now on further investigation I notice that it is the door portion that the pin slips into that's worn away, The two bits on the body that the pin slips through look fine. Now I cannot see any way of replacing the door hinge part connected to the door itself. Is there a way to replace those? Do you need to get a bush inserted in there? Anyone else have this problem? Why passenger side? and not drivers? Was it left without grease for too long? Thanks in advance Jakes ![]()

Jakes - there are 2 bushings used with 1 pin for each hinge. Check with Pelican or local dealer for parts. Fitment is very tight on installation - bushings must be lightly machined on the inside for proper fit.

Mike is right - you need bushings.
