Anybody have a complete list of recommended sparkplugs for different P-car engines?
 

So..I kinda used search to find something about sparkplugs. Did not find anything useful for all.

Does anybody have a list or such for all us pelicans about sparkplugs and which is for which engine.

Personally I followed Haynes Manual and found out that I needed plugs with higher temperature markings.

This idea just came up because I don't recall seeing such a DIY or FAQlist anywhere.

I check those out, but it would be nice to know if fellow pelicans have had good or bad experiences from different brands, or have found out that some heat ratings have worked better than others.

Like Bosch platinum = Crap or Good?
4 pole plugs ... etc etc

On My Carbed 3.0 engine I run NGK's BP6ES......

On the 84 I run the standard Bosh plug..... Not the platnium.
Can not recall the #......... :cool:

I put NGK's BP6ES on my 2.4T (carbed) and found out that they worked like crap. This was suggested in Hayne's manual..if i remember right.Wrong heat value. Put a BP7ES there and worked like a charm.

I recall that in Bosch plugs the value was the otherway around than in NGK, true?
