....the 24 Hours of LeMans this weekend, either live (lucky bastards) or on Speed?

I note, Speed is not showing the whole 24 hours as they did last year, *just* 14 hours. Oh well, that may give me time out for a drive.

Kevin Buckler has GT pole! Not bad for the first time at Le Mans.
He does have some hot shoes in the car with him but that's impressive. I think there are a total of 7 Porsches in this race-a far cry from years past. It will be an Audi parade but still fun to watch.

Unfortunately family demands prevents me from watching it live. But I usually tape most if not all of the race and watch it in 1-2 hour increments during the week.

Am I the only one with this problem? If I were actively racing, getting the time to watch would be even harder.
