Need more pictures of this car...

I found this picture on one of the car blogs I check regularly, but hope to find some more pictures of the car. I just love those Ronal wheels, but they seem pretty hard to find.

Those are pretty cool looking rims, would look even better if they were not chrome like.

The Ronal wheels look really cool on that 911. Very unique choice.

I've got some pics I believe. It was at "Volkfeast" last year in Kitchener Ontario and I took some pictures at the show, I really like the wheels too. I'll search when I get home later for those pics. if I've got'em

Those are Ronal R10 wheels. I remember working for a distributor that sold them in the 80's. Good luck finding them for a 911 these days. They only show them in 15's now, and don't remember all the fitments from way back.

Looks like it could be an Oregon plate on the rear....

Ontario plates, and IIRC the wheels are "Compomotives"

My thought as well.

Definitely Compomotives. Popular racing wheel back in the day. Not particularly attractive then, and haven't aged too well now, IMO.

Those offsets and tire sizes also give a weird JDM stance/slammed look on a 911. YMMV.

Wow, thanks for the pics! I quite like the wheels and JDM look, as it's different. Time to start wheelhunting

Back to the top for this thread. Love these wheels! Looks like limited widths available in the TH rims. Anything else out there?

that's my good friend Andrew's 911. we took some pix last weekend. I love how the car is coming together...the Compomotives are extremely rare to find in this bolt pattern...

Long time lurker... I read the forums often, and was surprised I missed this thread until now. The wheels are 16x7.5 and 16x10 Compomotive TH Turbos. The centres are aluminum with polished faces, and they’re super light. Off the top of my head I can’t recall the weights or the offsets.

I scored the centres and a ton of various lips/barrels off a friend who found them disassembled amongst a sea container that was sitting in long term storage in Cali. It contained a wealth of old Porsche and Merc racing bits. He is holding onto another 3 spare centres, but we haven’t been able to locate a fourth to make another complete set. The wheels certainly show their wear. I re-built them using the original Compo lips/barrels, and I’ll likely re-build them again in the future using BBS 20 hole shells, but for the time being I’m actually enjoying the ‘well used’ look of them. The rear tire choice was simply to facilitate running the 10” wheels in the back without rubbing at my current ride height. I’m very aware this look won't exactly sit well with your average enthusiast.

Here’s a couple shots of the interior:

I, for one, really hope the "stance" fad does not invade this forum like many others. There is nothing cool about ruining your suspension and driving dynamics in the name of "parking hard".

I don't think his stance is ruining his suspension or driving dynamics.
