Body Filler for late model 911 flexible bumpers
Anyone have a good recommendation for a good body filler for late model 911 bumpers?
Late model 1993 911(964) Carerra 2 with factory plastic/fiberglass flexible bumpers. I need to do ailttle light filling and body work on these before painting the entire car. I've heard that a different type of body filler is needed for these slightly flexible parts. Anyone with a good recommendation? Thanx! L |

At a local paint jobber you can find a two part epoxy mix for bumper (small) repairs. It is expensive relative to JB Weld. $12-15 but the stuff is outstanding.
Just a scuff, dig or small crack? This stuff is the bomb. SEM 68422 Bumper Repair Beyond this I believe is the two part pro stuff and I think there is heat used in the application. Sub $500 to get equipped but for one job? Nah.

The SEM Bumper Repair is a good product. I filled Bumperette holes in 993 bumper with fiberglass and this product.
For general filler I use Evercoat Z Grip. (The green stuff) It will work fine as a filler for light dings on the plastic. Just don't try to fill big deep stuff. Cooper |
