Angry notice a trend?

In the past 30 min I have seen two posts where the response provided varied from informative to the down right mean! We are all here to learn, share, and just enjoy our expieriences with fellow pcar owners. I am not trying to act as the "Board Police", but we all need to remember we were all newcomers at some point in time (I still am), and we can all learn a little something from everyone. Have a great weekend.

K9--I was checking out your Cardomain.com. Pretty cool stuff and great looking car! Question: Where can I get one of those rear bumbers thats on page 3 of the yellow turbo? Do they make it for a narrow body SC? Thanks

Thanks for the visit. Not sure of the bumper make or anything, might be custom? I do know that I like the look of the car and if all goes well my car will look much the same by Apr 03. Maybe someone here will see this and answer the question? Thanks again.

JonT-

You can get that bumper from BW Motorsports in Illinois (they advertise in Excellence magazine all the time). I'm not sure if they make a narrow-body version though. Just beware, fiberglass parts like that usually take a lot of prep work. So it wouldn't just be a "paint-and-bolt-on" piece.

Porsche be with you! Fantastic! (fellow catholic and star wars geek here amused by both aspects). I was going to insert tasteless catholic joke w/ the underlying "theme" shall we say that abounds today in the church but thought better of it...but DAMN i want to share it...

I typically ban people who are outright a-holes. People who are mean in their posts I just make look like idiots - but they usually do the job for me.

Forums are interesting places. It's amazing what happens when you get people like this together in person, though. I'm on a gaming forum that is full of juveniles who like to do nothing more than throw racial slurs at each other while flaming people all day long, acting like the meanest, nastiest children around - but when you get them all in a room together they're sweet as pie.

People seem to think there's anonymity on the internet. They couldn't be more wrong.

Down here in Georgia they are real big on manners and religion. Not that the two are related but..

Anyway somewhere along the line my daughter (6) and son (3) got into the habit of forcing everyone to say Grace at dinner time. Twice (once each).

Now don't ask me where he got it from - Speedvision? - but my son no longer says "Amen". Instead he finishes with... "A Porsche"

Always makes my day better.

Hot enough to melt the sweat on a tree, yes. Actually, today's pretty nice out. It's a top-off day for the Targa.

I agree about the posts. Politeness is important in ANY forum (www or otherwise). Some kidding is fine. Insults are not. We're all here to learn.

The first two responses I received from friends after I purchased my car was?are you going through a mid-life crisis? My response: If buying a Porsche is an indication of going through a mid-life crisis, then I have been going through once for the past 21 years?since I was 17!

That is scary!! I just yesterday gave the identical response to the identical remark! I also added that I just didn't give up on my dreams when I hit 25 years old! LOL!
