Tony Miller of NoirTech in Whittier (CA) - One of the good guys?

Visited the shop of Tony Miller of NoirTech in Whittier this past weekend, looking at a car he was selling for a client. Seemed like a great guy, long experience in the P-car biz. Just curious if anyone on the board has had any experience with him or his work (either first or second hand). Thanks

I've driven by, but never had any work done there and haven't heard them mentioned here before. But this is SoCal, and there are so many good shops to choose from....

Nardi Motors is about 1/2 mile from Noir Tech and they have been there a while. Gameface Motorsports in La Habra is related to Nardi, I think father/son run them. Not sure tho.

My car ran too well. I didn't learn much about shops firsthand.

Thumbs up

Tony is currently building a bad ass motor as we speak now. Can't wait until it's finished.

All i can say is that the motor he built for my ride back in 2007 is still going strong. Have dynod it at 500+ but run it pretty conservatively at less than 1 bar.

E - any hint as to the goodies he is putting into the build? When i visited his shop years ago he had quite a stash of unobtanium lying around

Hello there, Tony is retiring and my car is one of the last one that he is finishing up. It would had been finished a while ago, but couple bugs and it had to fixed and got hold on the back burner for a while. The motor we are putting is 3.6 964 Case, with 3.8 pistons/Cylinders, 993 welded heads/ Carrior Rods, Cams, lots of other technical stuff, Red line stand alone system, Electromotive (twin-plug), bigger injectors, different fuel lines, all the oil lines changed and relocated, twin trubo, the turbos were something he had held on for himslef. They are GT serrious 30731 something like that the biggest size of GT28RS style with Custom HKS sneal and some other details.

There is lot more to the engine and the suspentions by itself is crazy. 935 full setup, and more , more.

He says, this will be one of the nicest and crazyiest one has done ever. I will have to wait and see at the dyno, when it's ready.
