Old Cibie bulb, ID help

Old, pre 911 Porsche....356 era Cibie hood driving lights.

Are these still available? This one is rated at 45w....a few years ago I went thru a circus trying to get unobtainable bulbs for an old Lucas light fixture. The fixtures are offered for relatively cheap, but bulbs to replace burned out or upgrade in wattage is a question.

I'm still trying to remember where I've seen obsolete bulbs offered. If I can pin it down, I'll let you know.

You could also try contacting Daniel Stern, he may know where to find them.

Yeah, me too, actually. But the lights are cool enough that I'd be tempted to see if the housings could be modified to use a more modern bulb of some sort.

The guy is in Canada and was asking $199 USD opening and 299 at BIN on eBay. No bids....

Thanks, but I'll probably pass too, as I don't currently own anything old enough for those to look right on. Still cool lights, though.
