Question Tips on brake duct cooling instalation.

The UPS driver just delivered my OG Racing front brake cooling duct system. It really sucks having the parts for a fun project sitting on my desk at work when I have to work. Anyways, I will be installing them for the upcomming Fontana DE event. I plan on repacking my wheel bearing while I'm there and changing to SS brake hoses.

I've read the tech article but wonder if there are any tips re installation.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

I think on smartracing is a downloadable PDF showing the how to.
Also the pleican 911 tech article site maybe covers most issues.

Thanks Roland. It is nice to have you back. Whenever I see your signature I kind of feel like Porsche its self is responding to my request.

Nonetheless, I installed them last weekend and it is a very simple, straightforward job. I think I spent more time cleaing the underside of the car than to install the cooling duct.

(alwanted to type that, I just don't have an umlout (SP?) on my keyboard.)

When I installed mine, it didn't come with instruction. Make sure to put the backing plate so the duct is above the tie rod end. Don't cut the hose too short.
