oil shooting all over

took my sc in to get the valves adjusted and the oil changed, i just havent had time to do it this spring and im just ready to drive it, here goes i pick the car up its closeing time friday, i start it its running kinda rough, i feel maybe it will clear out, half way home its back fireing by the time i get home its running like $hit and it starts smoking, i mean like i cant see behind me, I come to a stop and the smoke completely covers the car, what the hell could they have done? any body got any ideas, i started it today when it got warm i took off the oil cap only to have oil shooting out, they may have over filled it but what about the backfiring and rough running, and here comes the smoke like a fog machine, any Ideas?could they have put the valve covers on wrong, Kevin

If they over filled it, then you'll be getting a lot of oil sucked into the motor. That could explain the rough running and backfire.

Make sure they clean the oil out of everything. It will be all over the airbox, throttle body, sensor plate etc....
