Original Speaker Grills N/A ?

Does anyone know a place to purchase orginal speaker grills for a 1984 911? Seems like the 1984 had a different door grill shape that is squre with rounded edges.

Not original, but damn close.

911 Door Speaker Grille (83-89)

I purchased these and they are high quality and exact fit. They have the mounting screws too!

I found some speakers to upgrade to. It wasn't easy finding something I liked as they had to be subtle and look original as possible... So many car speakers out there have crazy boy-racer designs and cheap plastic colourful crap decorating them.

Alpine SPR-50.

The grills are circular not rectangular, but are simple, black, and line up with the existing screw holes. The speakers themselves have great reviews.

I don't have them in the car yet but will be sure to share here!

Do those Alpines fit under the original grills?

To be honest not sure yet, I can test it out for you but you may have to wait a few weeks as I'm out of town for work.

I suspect that they would, when I'm home next I'll try it out and take some pics.
