Where can I find a set of floormats for a early car ?

After checking pelican, ebay , performance products , tweeks + others I cant find a listing for floormats for the cars older than 74`. Could someone post a link for me. I would prefer to buy them from our host. Maybe its just me but this dont seem right that nobody lists them.

Just curious , is there a difference for these between years ? BTW my car is a 69` coupe.

Have you checked some of the advertisers in Excellence? Just an idea.

Yes but no luck. Does this seem odd ? I dont understand it. There are lots of early cars out there and they need floormats too.

Maybe the 74 floormats are compatible/interchangeable with the 69's? Sounds like a conspiracy.

I ordered a set from Cocomats.com. They fit my 71 Targa perfectly. You might also want to search the archives. I remember Jack Olsen posted pics of some custom made mats for his early car.

I want the thick carpet type. similar to the stock type.

Personal preferance, but I think the Cocomats are more period and "original" than thick carpet mats. Didn't I see an old dealer accessory brochure with "factory" cocomats?

you may try contacting EASY (salvage yard) and ask for spencer - 510 653 EASY. great guy with great prices. are the 69s different from the 68s? i may have a 4 pc set taking up space.

I got a set from Strasse (877 944 9911) which fit my 73, should fit yours as well. They are a charoal grey, contact them and they'll send you an email with a photo. They are high quality, made by Lloyd I think.

See this thread for a source I found, as well as a picture of an actual pre-74 mat shape, and a picture of what vendors typically sell you.

I just bought a set at Parts Heaven that were labeled for the 74+. The guy behind the counter said they work for the early years without a problem, but I don't think they fit well at all.

The ones in the thread (Jacks second picture) are more to my preference. Anyone with a middle years want a black set of Llyods with red "911" lettering? Discount. Email me.
