Anyone looking for a plastic rally tank ?

Saw this on ebay and figured someone may be looking for one of these. Should go for at least $800.00

Hello

This is a standrd ROW 85 L plastic fuelcell as they come stock in RS and S up to 73 and had been also used in the later Carreras. You also could order thenm as option for all 911.

The plastic fuel tank also has some aging issues ( flocking out inside ) wich leads to the high demand on the marked.

Roland: What do you know about 100L steel rally tanks? I have one in my 1968 Euro 'S' and I am trying to figure out how much it might be worth.

Steel 100L tank

The last steel tank I saw was at Carquip about a year ago for $1,500 with a sender...good used condition.

I think current prices would be somewhere between $1,500 and $2,000 depending upon condition...given the runup in rare early 911 stuff.

I put one in my 67S about a year ago...had a couple of good offers (before I installed it), and they were in the range I stated.

regards,
Eric
