Bumper questions and moldings

I have a 1985 911 Euro Cabrio and I noticed my bumpers have the black "shocks" on them that are very worn, and in most cases, cracked and split. How hard of a fix is this? I have not really seen a replacement online for that... Thanks

Are you talking about the accordian pieces that fill the gap between the bumper and the body?

Pelican sells OEM. I bought a set of four reproduction ones off ebay for under $100.

Not too hard to replace. Four nuts per piece.

I have the USA version of the same car. They are relatively easy to remove, bolting onto the bumper from the backside. You have to remove a piece of tin behind the bumper there in order to access the nuts. Where to source replacements I can only guess, specialty wreckers like Parts Heaven perhaps, though I've never looked to see if Pelican carries any. Unless the splits in yours are in exceedingly obvious places, I had good luck revitalizing the surface of mine using a run-of-the-mill dressing for black parts that I bought at a FLAPS.
