Need for Speed Question

Based on suggestions on this board, my daughter bought me "Need for Speed, Porsche Unleashed" It looks like an original disc and literature.

The installation instructions said to be sure to include spaces when you enter the serial number. There is a hand written 10 digit serial number with the package but it has no spaces.

Could someone provide an example of where the spaces go (
e.g. XXX XXX XXXX). Maybe that will work for me.

Thanks

Frank

Frank- the number is not on the package- it is on the CD case!

CD case is blank

The CD case on the copy I have has a blank space where the number should be. I did receive a hand written 10 digit number which I am guessing is the serial number.

Its an ebay thing.

Sounds like a burned copy. I could be wrong, but the problem you might have is when you try to play online and there are already people playing with your serial number. I would contact the seller and tell them what is going on. Hopefully you have a legitimate game and they can help you straigten it out, or give you your $$ back. Good luck.
EDit- I will check my case when I get home tonight and see if I have a 10 digit number.

Sean,

I can't get past the install nevermind play in line!

I appreciate if you would check the number format.

Ok, I am not going to give out my serial number, but the format is 5 numbers, then 4- four letter words. It is stamped in the white section on the back of the case.

Thanks for the help

I appreciate your help.

But it looks like the number I was given doesn't match the pattern.

I'll keep after the seller.

I'll look at my copy tonight and send you my cd number. I don't play online or at all, so that should be okay. If no one puts one up by then.
