Jack restraint?
Does anyone know of a source for the little rubber strap that holds the jack in place on an '80 SC? Mine disintegrated. Thanks.

I wonder if the strap from a super beetle would work - the jacks themselves are identical, and the way they hold the jack in is similar.
I just searched a couple of VW supplies, no joy - not a common wear part. You should be able to find one in a junkyard though. I'll also dig thru my stuff and see if I can find mine - I can't use mine any more since I put an oil cooler there
