The ULTIMATE bar ornament

Guess what I got today?

A genuine 962 cylinder/barrel which came off one of the Kremer cars driven by Frank Jellinski at the Southern Sun 500 at Kyalami in 1988.

The engine detonated itself because, the Sasol fuel used evidently didn't have a high enough lead content. Ironically, the car was sponsored by Sasol for the event and the fuel was used against herr Kremer's wishes.

PS, I washed it and even got wifey to dry it with her hair-dryer!
