All season tire rec.

I'm looking for an all season tire,
Not necessarily for driving in the snow just something if I get
Caught in the rain or when the temps drops the rubber won't
feel like a fork truck tire or wear prematurely because of it.

The car is a 77 carrera 3.0,
Essentially an SC, I have fake Fuchs in
17x9 and 17x7.5 I'm thinking 255/40/17 rear
And 225/45/17 front....

I live in NJ so our weather varies,
In light of the recent weather patterns we may
Have to learn how to drive on locusts or lava !

Thanks,
rich

don't know about sizes, but I've had 225/45-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS tires on my WRX wagon for years...great traction both wet and dry, not noisy, wears well.

I am running a set of BFGoodrich g-Force Sport A/S Tires and really like them.

If you want a W rating, go with the Super Sport A/S version.

I'm using Conti Extreme Contact DWS tires; they're working great in all the rain we're having.

Flaken ziex 512. Very sticky. Not great in snow. Perfect summer performance tire if you are worried about getting caught in white stuff

+1 If you want a true "all season" tire, one that you drive with confidence on damp / wet night when the temps are below 40 degrees, this the tire. I ran them on my 993 and they were terrific.

Also I think the 960 has now been superseded by the 970.
