squeak - help !!!!!
 

I have this really annoying intermittent squeak coming form the dash on my '82 SC ,

It happens between 60-80mph at around 3000 rpm - please tell me if you have had this problem or what it may be ... any input gratefully recieved as my ears can't take any more !!

I don't know if this is any help but I had a rattle sort of sound that seems to have been related to the wiper mechanism. Could it be one of your gauges thats not properly seated?

I had terrible squeeks from the front of the car. I always thought it was front suspension bushings. When I replaced my dash, I replaced some foam rubber strips on the fresh air plenum/fan assembly, and all of the squeeks went away.

I always thought my squeak was from the dash, but found out it came from the center console. It´s fixed to the floor by two screws, one on each side, in the back side. mine had loose screws whitch made the squeaks.
check yours.
