Start and drive.........
Warren,
Could you start and drive the car right away from a cold start? Or had to wait a few minutes before taking off? Keep us posted. Tony |
Tony,
I haven't driven the car with the new CCP setting, I'll do that tonight. With the old setting though you could drive off without an issue. The problem was (see my initial post) was that at 50 degrees ambient the engine had to crank for a longer period of time then I thought it should, but at 28 degrees ambient it would pretty much catch right off. I also noticed that I had an initial lope at idle for a few minutes, but would go away as the WUR was transitioning fromm CCP to WCP maybe 2-3 minutes. All what I'm trying to do here is get the car to light off a little quicker then it was doing at 50 degrees ambient. Make sense? Warren |
All,
OK, so I drove the car tonight and she fired up well and I was able to pull out of the garage without any gas pedal feathering or stumbling of the motor so I think for now I will just "leave it alone". Here were my final test numbers. ambient temp: 13C CCP vacuum on: 1.6bar WCP vacuum on: 3.5bar System pressure: 4.8bar Time to transition from CCP to WCP: 4:00 minutes Residual pressure after 1 hour: 1.5bar Thanks for all your help on this one.
