How do you measure torque hard brake lines

I am replacing the entire hard brake line system on a 75. How do you measure the torque on the fittings when it requires a wrench, not a socket.

thanks

Well you could use a 11mm crowsfoot wrench and adjust the torque setting on your inch-pound torque wrench accordingly, by the calculation that includes the center-to-center length of your crowsfoot

You really just need to snug them up tight with the correct line wrench. Don't over do it.

KTL - cool calculator though, for more torque sensitive procedures.

Any type of compound on the threads or keep them clean.

Dry is fine. You could put a little never-seize on the line under the nut. That's always the part that seizes up.

Agreed 100% that snug is fine. No gorilla tightening needed.

No need to lube them with anything. Dry is fine.

A firm snug. +1

I second the use of antiseize under the nut where it cinches the line,
this will keep moisture from corroding the line to the nut,
If your working on old calipers and the line nuts are not turning,
use a torch on the nut head and around the caliper area where they are screwed in ,
use PB blaster after its been heated they will usually come out.
