Rear Sway Bar Removal

I have run into an issue removing the rear sway bar on my SC preparatory to dropping the engine. The bolts that hold the link into the trailing arm are really tight; maybe seized. My question is, what material do these bolts go into in the trailing arm? Just the arm's aluminum, or is there a steel insert there?

I can't get the bolts out of the other end of the link either, although I consider those disposable and they can come out with the flame wrench if necessary. Then I can deal with the others after the sway bar is out of the way.

Ideas?
