Really nice 912 project
Helping a buddy here. He was restoring, professionally, a customers '67 912, customer ran out of money and gave him the car. The bodywork is done, very little rust, but did get a rocker and part of a quarter, and a little under the hood by the front of the gas tank. Its nearly ready for paint, which he can do, and will do very reasonably. He has done some very nice Porsche restorations over the years.
Most all of the car is there, other than it needs a motor, which is gone. There is a good trans. there. He also has a good '71 911t motor that could slip in, and has all the parts to make it work. He was asking $4,500, which was a steal, but due to some very pressing medical bills, He's asking $3,500 for the car w/o the motor mentioned, as it sits. However, it needs to be sold ASAP, like today! If he can receive the money in the next day or 2, (today being 4-4-13) this will be the price. This is a legit deal on a very nice car w/ a lot of parts and potential. I can put you in contact with him if you want to know more. I would love to buy, but no room in the stable. Why not get in touch with Magnus Walker here on the boards. This looks like something he might be interested in.

I have been asking for pics and title info for about four months now. Still havent seen nothing.
Interesting way to sell a car w/o proper info even for this much. I am still interested if you could provide info I have asked in December. |

I was thinking Magnus turning a 912 into something like this from his thread (scroll to the white car 4th picture): http://forums.pelicanparts.com/6856653-post1611.html |
